Cookie policy

Last updated October 17, 2026. This page describes the cookies Check My Attorney uses. It follows the same structure used by public cookie-policy templates (what a cookie is, which cookies we set, and how you can control them).

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, remember preferences, and understand how a site is used. Similar technologies (for example local storage) may be used for the same purposes.

How we use cookies

We use cookies to measure traffic and improve the site. We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising on this site, and we do not sell personal information. See our privacy policy for the rest of our data practices.

How to control cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" or similar control. Blocking analytics cookies will not stop you from reading public records on this site.

You can also use Google's browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
